Jamie Aylward, Graham Woolnough and Iain Fairbairn, the Liberal Democrat Team in Ottery
St Mary and West Hill and Aylesbeare Wards would like to thank all of you who voted for us
in the recent East Devon District Council election. Everybody we met was polite and
courteous, even those of you who didn’t vote for us. Thank you!

It is many years since a Liberal Democrat stood for council election in these wards but we
will not be going away as we love this area and want to see it prosper in every way.

Graham Woolnough

Graham spent sixteen years as a unitary authority councillor. He has been a governor of a further education college for twelve years and of primary, secondary and special needs schools.
Now retired, Graham worked in the construction and transportation industries, latterly as a Commercial Manager.  He has 4 adult children and 9 grandchildren under 10.
“My priorities as a councillor would be to work with the County to ensure quality, local education for our children and to campaign for proper infrastructure, particularly transport links, for the more inaccessible parts of our District.”

Jamie Aylward

Jamie moved to Ottery 25 years ago, having run a restaurant in Exmouth and been a web developer. Today he is a qualified hypnotherapist, practising in Ottery.

"I believe that close-knit families have better health and so do communities. Loneliness is damaging so as a community we should look after each other.  I believe we can all contribute to Ottery St Mary - people are our best resource.  My ambition is to do what I can to bring them together.”
